A set of over 70 GZM sustainable development indicators set in the context of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals. The indicators have been divided according to 4 priorities set out in the Program of Strategic Actions until 2022. Data for indicators mostly show the situation since 2010. Indicators at the level of the GZM have been presented. The downloadable version includes data at the level of member municipalities.

Różnorodność oferty edukacyjnej, jakość kadr i kształcenia czy rozpoznawalność uczelni w kraju i zagranicą to współcześnie ważne determinanty rozwoju i budowania konkurencyjności miast i metropolii, w tym przyciągania inwestorów i nowych mieszkańców. Poniżej zaprezentowano podstawowe dane o uczelniach i studentach na terenie GZM (informacje sukcesywnie aktualizowane na podstawie danych GUS i POL-on), a także przedstawiono najważniejsze informacje wynikające z Raportu „Studenci i uczelnie w GZM” opracowanego w 2021 roku.

Metropolitan areas occupy an increasingly important place in national strategic documents. Below is a summary of information on metropolitan areas in Poland. The list presents 12 metropolitan areas, taking into account 12 member cities of the Union of Polish Metropolises around which a metropolitan area defined by borders can be designated on the basis of existing associations and associations. Statistical data was prepared on the basis of data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS), aggregating data from individual member communes to the level of the metropolitan area. For individual indicators, the most up-to-date data published by the Central Statistical Office in the Local Data Bank (BDL) was used - data for 2022 and 2021 (as of July 10, 2023). Information on members used to define the boundaries of the area and the number of communes included in the metropolis was obtained from the websites of individual associations (as of June 2022).

The following analysis presents the situation on the real estate market in the GZM Metropolis based on the offer prices of apartments (without houses) published on the leading advertising websites in Poland in the period from Q4 2020 to Q4 2022. The purpose of the analysis is to compare the offer prices of flats on the primary and secondary markets in the cities of Metropolis GZM and - in the following months - to observe trends on the market. The analysis is of an illustrative / research nature and was prepared by the team of the Metropolitan Socio-Economic Observatory.
